The view from my motel room. Amy and family, wonderful to see you all again and to meet Jason and the clan of animals, especially Dana the dog who I have fallen for completely. Cody and Coy, I wish your uncle Glenn could see you in person, Kai Kai too.
Installing went fine. Happy to get to show with Lisa - we have uncannily similar concerns and I admire her work.

Zayla's 5th Birthday

The other day I read a book to Kainoa about what kids do well. at the end I asked Kainoa what he did well, what he liked and he said, "Your life. I'm in your life."
Yesterday Kainoa and I were sitting on the couch together in the morning and Kainoa said "You know I love you. I love your chin, I love your mouth, I love your nose. Those three things."
I love this kid.
