We were a little paralyzed and overwhelmed when Glenn's papa passed away. It made us a bit clingy, and then closer to each other - more appreciative, attentive, and respectful. What a kid we have too. I'm trying out the video feature that blogger.com has added. Fashion shots to come, it was just a little hard to care about it for a while there....

you have although I definitely prefer mittens. Include inside the lone

and 3.) any brief story behind or date of loss (if you can remember). This

four days left

So I thought I'd spend some time reflecting on my time at Ox-Bow but I got tossed back into the non-stop schedule of parenting and I'm moving at top speed again. Glenn, here are some pics of your boy and a few more pics that sum up the anti-aesthetic that is lower mid-Michigan.

One hugely wonderful thing about teaching is that some of these kids in my classes are listening to music that I would not find otherwise. The new favorite is Jenny Lewis.

So I've had a little over a week of break time, much more time to be with family and to look after myself. I found myself pretty sick after a little less than a year of trying to figure out what was wrong. I have really needed time to find balance again. I've started back into a yoga class for the first time in over two years. It's Iyengar, which I'm not crazy about, but the teacher is excellent and it's right across the street from where we live so I'm delighted with the whole set up. (The first time I went I found myself critiquing the Iyengar style and having to tell myself "you're here to relax Wendy!") I've also been drinking wheatgrass nearly daily and it completely changes my day every time I drink it. I get nauseatingly cheerful for a few hours after.
